The Ministry
The Grace Walk Recovery Ministry believes that God’s Answer for addiction is freedom in Christ. The truth is that freedom has been provided for every child of God; It was for freedom that Christ set us free…(Gal. 5 :1). The finished work of Christ has provided freedom for every believer, for we know that old self was crucified with Him that the body of sin might be down away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin, because anyone who has died has been freed from sin (Rom. 6:6,7). Anyone who is struggling with an addiction is simply believing a lie. Jesus said you will know the truth and the truth will set you free (John 8:32). When a person knows the truth they will experience freedom in Christ. Our goal is to present the truth of God’s clear, complete and definitive answer for addiction, which is freedom in Christ.
Scripture teaches clearly that the finished work of Christ provides freedom from not only the penalty of sin, but the power of sin. Our belief is that a person who understands who they are and what they have in Christ will not engage in self-destructive addictive behaviors as a lifestyle. In other words they will live in peace, joy and freedom from addiction.
Freedom is your birthright as a child of God. DON’T SETTLE FOR LESS! Our focus is to teach, train, equip and provide resources for people to conduct recovery ministries where people find true and lasting freedom in Christ. This is being accomplished through books, workbooks, devotionals, DVD’s and webinars. The webinars are designed to present the truth that sets free from addictive behavior and train and equip a person to have a recovery ministry where this takes place.
Jesus declared “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed.” — Luke 4:18
