80 and counting…47 and thanking…44 and grateful…29 and praising.
Yes, I turned 80 last month. 47 years ago, I trusted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior which was the best thing I have ever done. 44 years ago, Julia and I were married and it is a miracle that we still are and that we are very glad that we are. 29 years ago, I was freed from my addiction to alcohol when I believed Galatians 2:20 and that I was dead to sin and freed from it, and I was one with Christ. I’m in fairly good shape for an old man and swim 4 times a week. I have been in full time ministry for 40 years and never tire of telling “the truth that sets free” which is: “I have been put to death on the cross with Christ; still I am living; no longer I, but Christ is living in me; and that life which I now am living in the flesh I am living by faith, the faith of the Son of God, who in love for me, gave himself up for me” (Gal. 2:20 BBE).
