“But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons” (Gal. 4:4, 5).
It is the most wonderful time of the year!
Why? Because we get presents, get a few days off from work and spend time with the family. That is nice, but the real meaning of Christmas is that God sent His Son to provide us everything that we need for life and godliness (2 Pet. 1:3). Yes, but much more than that. Jesus didn’t come just to provide forgiveness for sins and give us eternal life. He came to give us Himself, His life that we might receive the full rights of sons and daughters. What does that mean? For one thing it means that “we no longer live, but Christ lives in us” (Gal. 2:20). We have it ALL! We have EVERYTHING!!! There is nothing to get, attain or achieve. We just need to Know and believe who we are and what we have in Christ and be who we are, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27).
In 1988 I was in great bondage to alcohol. When I learned the truth of Galatians 2:20, that I no longer lived, but Christ was my life and lived in me, I was radically free. I have never seen anyone get free from anything until they believe this truth.
Julia and I have lived on support for 30 years now and it seems to decline with the years. But God has always provided for us. There are 3 ways to support us and our ministry if God leads you.
